Happy Birthday, Ali! (written by Kevin)

Hey folks! It’s Saturday morning, but more importantly… it’s Ali’s Birthday! This is Kevin writing this, by the way. I know Ali & I know that she was gonna try to get a blog post up today, so I’m beating her to it! This is my way of giving her a day off. The only other time I wrote one of these blogs was the day she went into labor. We were literally on our way to the hospital and she was asking me about the wi-fi at Cedars-Sinai because she needed to “post an update.” She is just super dedicated to this blog and all of you. And I admire her for that But I made her take a couple days off back then, and I’m doing it again today.

First of all, I want to wish her an incredibly Happy Birthday! 33 was without a doubt the best year of my life (so far) and I hope that she can say the same. A few days after my 33rd birthday, Molly was born. Real quick side not… how great is Molly?? I might be biased, but I think she’s the best human being of all time. She’s growing and getting smarter, sweeter and funnier every single day. It might sound stupid, but I feel lucky that I know her. She’s perfect. End of side note. Also during my 33rd year, we got married! That was such an incredible day. I honestly watch our wedding video regularly. My point here is that 33 was great for me and I know it will be for you too, babe.

Since this is Ali’s blog, I’m still gonna link some of her outfit details, but I’m choosing the photo! Our friend Ashley took some family portraits for us the other day & I love this pointing picture. Ali & I didn’t realize that Molly decided to go with the “mean muggin” look, but it’s still one of my favorites. Another side note, Ashley is such a rad photographer. I used to take all of Ali’s blog photos, but since Molly came along, it hasn’t really been possible for me to take them all. It’s for the best though because Ashley’s photos are a thousand times better. And aside from Ashley, this blog is 100% Ali. I don’t know if you guys realize that. There probably aren’t too many successful bloggers (who are also full time moms!) that actually come up with every idea, put all of their outfits together, write every word and post everything themselves. It’s way more work than I ever would’ve imagined and she loves to do it. Mad props to my beautiful bride. Ali never stops working (except for Molly time) and I’m so happy that Molly has such an impressive female role model.

 I guess that’s about it for me. I just really wanted to jump on here and wish Ali a very Happy Birthday and give her a chance to relax.
